GPC provided a workshop on “Pump Equipment Design for Wells and Boosters” - Attending this workshop were 28-people from 8-Cities or utilities. We worked through examples of basic pump design that included pump curves, specific speed, hydraulic thrust, and available bowl lateral. Other sections addressed during the workshop included proper motor selection, motor thrust bearings, and motor and field maintenance.

California Water Service Company – Torrance Office

GPC provided a workshop on “Pump Equipment Design and Redevelopment Methods” – The workshop covered pump curves, how to determine if the pump selected is correct for the application, and we discussed examples of well redevelopment projects and how to select the method most appropriate for the application.
